KAVITHA LANKESH IN SMALL SCREEN `NANNA PREETHIYA SRIMATHI`

`Nanna Preethiya Srimathi`  a women centric television serial by woman director Kavitha Lankesh is the second journey of the reputed big screen director. Earlier Kavitha Lankesh directed 100 episodes ‘Nee Nadeva Hadiyalli’ and now ‘Nanna Preethiya Srimathi’ – it is about two sister’s saga with a tormentor in their life.

Kavitha Lankesh television serial is on air in Zee Kannada from 22nd of October, 2012 at 8 pm. Elder sister is Srimathi and younger is Srimathi with two different outlooks. In their life enters Prabhakara who is looking for a village girl. He is a sadist but rich person. Whom he is going to pick as his ‘Srimathi’ and what churns out is told in different episodes.

There is no restriction as such for Kavitha Lankesh. Giving variety is thought now. Sneha, Anusri and Harshavardhana are in the lead roles. Shringeri Ramanna, Shoba, BL Manjula, Akshay, Chikkanna, Suresh VH, Rashmi, Prakruthi, Rajani, Nagaraj Bhat are also in the cast.

After ‘Crazy Loka’ Kannada cinema Kavitha Lankesh disclosed that she directed three documentaries. Coming to small screen no one will become small. Amitabh Bachchan and Puneeth Rajakumar are in the small screen I have no fuss in directing for small screen says Kavitha Lankesh.
